Good morning! It's Thanksgiving day in the USA; a perfect day to be reminded of the joys of being thankful.
When I woke up this morning, the sun was out and the day looked bright and warm, and I thought, "Wow, what a beautiful day to be thankful."
What if we could just be thankful for the little things… like the smile of a neighbor, the presence of a family member, the hug from a colleague, that 'Happy Thanksgiving' text message from an unexpected person, the food cooking on the stove, the smoke from a grill across the street, the wave from a stranger, etc.
You see, that's already a long list of things and moments to be thankful for. Everyone of us, or most of us have access to the moments on this list. When we focus on non-material aspects of life, and allow ourselves to feel blessed by those moments that we often may take for granted, happiness fills our hearts, it becomes easier to be thankful and most importantly feel blessed.
So my thanksgiving message to you today is, "let's be thankful for the moments (big or small) that take our breaths away."
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
When I think of moments that take our breaths away, I remember that time I accompanied my son on a school trip to the Coca Cola center in Atlanta… how we all (especially the kids) experienced beautiful moments that blew our minds.
Cheers to your Success!
