Second guessing ourselves too much often leads to lower self-confidence. Why? Because failing to follow our instincts time and again, injects doubt into our minds, subsequently leading to a subtle lack of belief in self.
In today’s Thoughts On Success, I’ll like to encourage you to follow your heart. If you feel like writing something, write it; like speaking up, speak up; if you want to dress a certain way, do so; if you feel like staying, stay; like going, go ... and if you’re not sure what to do, take time to listen to your spirit. It was Dr. Seuss who once said, “Be who you are and say what you feel because people who mind don’t matter and people who matter don’t mind.”
Holding back too much generally leads to feelings of un-alignment, of not living in purpose. Meanwhile yielding, allows us to flow and ebb into our true selves.
Living to the fullest is not about trying to fit into a certain mold, or giving up yourself to fit into another person’s/society’s expectations. It is about being you and trusting you.
Great leaders give themselves permission to be themselves at all times; even as they remain open to growth and to learning as they go.
Always remember that life is full of exciting possibilities.
Love yourself, trust yourself and enjoy the journey.
As always, cheers to your success!
