If it makes you feel good and adds meaning to your life, do it

Possibilities

Many of us feel the urge to do something different, to follow that persistent call in our hearts that we have been trying to ignore for a long time… you know, that dream that keeps nagging at us. Well, there comes a time when you just have to say "yes' to yourself and make a move.

Having the discipline to ignore doubt and push pass it is a great first step. Doubt is uncertainty, hesitation, being unsure. Doubt comes as a result of fear — fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear of change, or other self limiting beliefs. When we are unsure and needing reassurance and guarantees of success upfront, fear takes over and holds us back. Hence by replacing fear with faith, we give ourselves permission to take that all-too-important first step towards following our dreams.

Align your intentions with a greater good. Anchor your 'why' for starting that business/venture with a reason to improve lives. Whether it's choosing cosmetology so as to beautify women and help them feel good about themselves, or computer engineering to help companies operate more efficiently, do it for a greater good. Write down your mission statement and memorize it. With the right intentions that are not mainly centered around just money making, you will find your new venture taking root faster than you had imagined.

If you are that someone looking to take that next step in life, but find yourself doubting whether to or not to, this blog post is for you.

If your heart just won't stop thinking about it, if you are constantly wondering whether you should or shouldn't — well, start thinking of how to start moving where your heart is leading. I encourage you to think in terms of possibilities, not limitations.

Once you start thinking along the lines of "how can I do this" … instead of 'I am afraid to do it', your mind begins to connect with possibilities.

If it makes you feel good and adds meaning to your life, do it. Nobody is ever too old to dream a new dream.

  Doing what you love 500

Cheers to your success.
