Good morning Face2Face family. How is your Saturday looking so far, what do you have planned for the day? I hope and pray that your weekend is productive and fun.
I was awake by 5.00am this morning. I spent some quiet time meditating, doing my daily devotionals, while looking forward to the sunrise. Then I went walking at nearby Salem Baptist walking trails. It was so beautiful and calm out there. Many others were out for their early morning exercise as well.

Are you paying attention to your body? How often do you exercise? Exercise not only flushes out stress, it keeps our minds healthy and alive. Since my return from Cameroon about a month ago, I have been neglectful of exercise. Lately, starting to feel a bit sluggish, with much (such as work, family, life in generally) weighing on my mind, the stress has began to creep in. Moreover, my body has been begging for exercise.
So, while the family was still asleep, I went on a date with nature. The air was soft and crisp. It felt good to break a sweat during those 3 healthy miles. Hopefully I can get the kids to join me soon — if they would be willing to be up by 6.00 a.m. — otherwise, this may just be the best "me" time.
Now, I feel energized and ready to tackle the day.
Today's post is to wish you a pleasant and happy weekend. And to encourage you, if you aren't already doing so yet, to put health first and start exercising regularly. Some prefer working out at the gym, others like me cherish doing so in the company of nature. Whatever works for you, just do it! Health is wealth. You will feel rejuvenated.
