"It doesn't matter where you are coming from. All that matters is where you are going." – Brian Tracy
Good morning distinguished ladies and gentlemen. We're counting down to the end of 2014! I have this feeling that there is still much to be accomplished before the year ends. Do you feel the same? I believe 2015 will be tremendous in many ways.
Today's thoughts are on allowing ourselves to go through the processes of life. By this I mean, to embrace the flow. I have found that when we do, every second of every day becomes meaningful because we are truly in it.
Whether it's filing paperwork to set up a business, waiting for a company to call us back for a job interview, watching back office reports in anticipation of a new recruit signing into our business, laying the groundwork for an upcoming event — or on a personal level, wishing a loved one would text us back, getting over an argument with a friend, coming to terms with the end of a relationship, etc. Be in the moment.
When we allow ourselves to be truly engaged by embracing these experiences, and giving ourselves permission to feel emotions, while keeping the desired outcome in mind, everything ceases to be a struggle. And slowly we begin to feel strengthened even by the anxiety of such moments. But when we try to 'run' from them or even try to 'fix' things, fear takes over and rules over us.
"Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don't resist them – that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like." – Lao-Tzu
And so I encourage you to savour the moments and be still. Yes, it is possible. You will be alright. You will come out on top. Cheers to your success.
