Have you noticed that most successful athletes have coaches? Artists (Michael Jackson, one of the greatest of all times looked up to James Brown), actors, business owners, and others who have achieved greatly always alude to having someone in their lives who encouraged and guided them, trained them and coached them on to become the best they could be.

As this year begins and you start to form winning alliances, I encourage you to stop and ask yourself who your mentor is or is going to be. Mentors are very instrumental in your growth in any field. A mentor very simply is a teacher and trusted counselor. He is someone you admire, who inspires you and has the strength of character you can lean on. He is one who will hold you accountable and push you to continuously improve and expand.

Good article to inspire all those who are aiming highest(not higher) in life..It was interesting to see how you came out with the difference between a MENTOR and a COACH…..My favorite word for “mentor” is MUSE..(i.e a source of inspiration/a guiding genius….).As you have said it is difficult at times to find one,but if we know exactly where our DESTINATION is, then it can become like a”walk in the park” for us to find a MUSE…..Great job Lema…..
