(1) Turn dreams into reality. Dream about what you
want, then you put in some action in the form of work. It all starts with
a dream, when you have big dreams which you back up with work, I
mean real work, your dreams start to become reality. For "whatever
the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve." Napoleon Hill.
(2) Have a compelling reason
for doing what you are doing. I call that the WHY. You have to know why
you are in business, for without a great and burning desire it is impossible to grow. With knowing WHY comes mastering the HOW and What to do. WHY
do you strive to be wealthy? Maybe to retire your spouse from ever going to work for someone else; or you want to be the first one in your
family to be wealthy; or maybe you dream of traveling the world
with your family, etc. So what is your WHY? Remember that knowing
WHY, will definitely lead to knowing how. Sometimes fear keeps people from
doing the right things, e.g. the fear of failure, the fear of rejection
and worst of all the fear of public speaking, or presenting in front of others. Do you know that there are people who would rather jump from an airplane than stand in front of an audience and
make a speech? But let me tell you how you overcome that fear: you
need a dream bigger than your fears; you must believe in yourself, that will help grow the confidence in you. Self confidence grows by reading personal growth and development books and listening to educational CD'S. If you do this consistently
for 21 days it becomes a habit. Then begin to talk like you mean it. You will notice the steady growth in you. When you do the things
you fear, the death of fear is certain.
Have clear goals and make them a part of your life. Most people don't know what their reality is,
which is why they watch reality TV shows.
What you need is positive information that will impact your life.
Your mind is a great treasure so stop putting junk into it. So I
challenge you to write down your goals and put them where you will see
and read them daily. For a short pencil is better than a long
memory. The more you read and dwell on your goals, the more you begin to believe them, and your subconscious mind will begin to act on them.
Protect your dreams. Consider yourself a ship sailing in an ocean; if you let water
in, it begins to sink. There will be many people who will tell you that you can't do it, yet they will not offer better alternatives – all they do is help you
fail, because they are not successful themselves. Be smart and stop listening to the nay-sayers who don't have your interest at heart. Listening to nay-sayers is unconsciously letting water into your ship, which will eventually sink. Successful people consider challenges an opportunity to
grow themselves. My question is how do you look at challenges that come
your way? Do you conquer them or do they conquer you?
excited about life, nobody needs people around them that are negative or always
carrying long faces. Excitement is the key, without excitement nothing productive happens. People would follow you if you are excited about where you are going. Excitement and passion go hand in hand and they take you towards the realization of your dreams.
You have to be willing to
change your life. Be a student of what you are doing, learn more
about the business you are venturing into. Be teachable and
accountable and keep these important success cornerstones at heart. You become better at the things you are willing to invest your time into.
