Things Not Experienced
As human beings we sometimes open ourselves up to new experiences and other experiences we avoid in every possible way.
Do you remember how as kids we hated changing schools, wondering if new classmates were going to be nice to us? Do you remember how uncomfortable you felt meeting new people, new teachers even as we moved from one grade to another? In as much as we disliked forming new relationships, we did it anyway, and gave ourselves a chance to become familiar with the unfamiliar, finding ourselves getting used to new environments, even looking forward to school every morning, lifelong friendships coming alive in once unfamiliar settings.
