We All Have Them

Some days are just very difficult. I don't care how positive you are, sometimes you are left feeling drained emotionally. Could be because of work, kids, friends, business or plain old life.

Today was one of those days for me. I did not plan for it to turn out this way. But when you wake up and things get at you that you didn't see coming, the best you can do is face them head-on and keep going. Don't they always say, "to whom much is given, much is expected?"

Whether it is in your network marketing business, a traditional business or in anything that places you in a position of responsibility, some days are not good days. The challenges you face come from the most unlikely sources sometimes … but it is all worth it. That's life.

I am thankful and I keep going because every experience adds to my bank of knowledge.

However, after a long day like I just had putting out fires, I must sit back and figure out a way to regroup.

Take a deep breath and force myself to calm down. I try to breath out the pounding in my chest, the frustration I am feeling.

Count my blessings one by one.

Remind myself Why I do what I do and why I must keep going.

Spend some mommy-time with my kids playing games before bedtime.

Watch some fun programs on TV or catch a movie.

Review my goals for the rest of the week and plan on how to achieve them.

You must be mentally tough to survive in today's world. Refuse to have your spirit broken.
Thinking about it, things aren't that bad after all. Tomorrow will be better.

Before I go to bed tonight, I will read this scripture passage to end by day on a positive note:

Psalm 23 “The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. Hemakes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, herestores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Eventhough I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, foryou are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a tablebefore me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cupoverflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, andI will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.”

What are your tips?

  1. Hello Lema and Albert hope you guys had a great holiday season and ready to head on to PSVP. Believe me I have plenty of the days that you have had today. I know you will handle them with grace and positivity and not let anything stop you from your goals. You know a little about my story but recently it got worst. My wife over the holiday had surgery to remove a Cancerous tumor in her breast and we are waiting to find out how much Chemotherapy she will need. Talk about a bad three months, but Thank God her spirits are great and she is doing much better(on my knees and fingers crossed). You can never rest with Cancer. So a bad day is a chance to show God how strong you are just like I have seen how strong my wife is. It will all be fine, so have a great evening take a deep breath and hang on. You and Albert take care and we will talk soon.
